Isotta Fraschini Motori S.p.A. a FINCANTIERI Company has headquarters and factory in Bari - Italy. The Company is involved in the industrial and metallurgic industry, with particular attention to the design, manufacturing and sales of engines.
With the coordination and indications given by the Systems and Components Direction of Fincantieri, with a staff of about 165, the Company operates in the vast international market of the diesel engines.

Two families of modern high speed diesel engines, 1300 series and 1700 series, which cover a range from 250 to 2.600 kW for both marine, vehicular, railway and industrial applications.

The Company has recently implemented new policies and initiatives in terms of organization, commercial, research and development of the product and made more efficient the production plant. By applying this policies it has been possible to reorganise the productive area, significant investments have taken place to develop new products with the aim to improve reliability and performances, with reduction of the emissions and to allow the use of bio-fuels.

The new production area, recently completed, incorporates, the engine and genset completion area, and also the testing cells for generator sets up to 3000 kW, will now allow to reach the goal of meeting the markets always increasing demands.
